Grant Program is designed to enhance the competitiveness of California
specialty crops - fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture,
and nursery crops (including floriculture). Grant awards range from $50,000 to
$400,000 per project. Funding is contingent upon passage of a Farm Bill and

proposals is between January and May 2014. The first meeting will be held in
January 2014. By establishing the Technical Review Committee, CDFA maintains a
competitive process to ensure maximum public input and benefit.
